This Sai Baba bhajan was composed by Das Ganu Maharaj, an instrument of Perfect Master Shirdi Sai Baba. Das Ganu used to sing devotional songs of Sai Baba and other Gods, Master and Saints. He used to move about from villages to villages and big and small cities in India, while the compassionate Master Sai Baba was in Flesh and blood also.
Das Ganu Maharaj was waorking in a police department with an aim to get promotion. He also used to compose short songs for entertainment. Sadguru Sai Baba had other plans for him. Das Ganu kept on working hard for a promotion in police department, and ultimately has to give in to His Master's wish which was much much more better than his own wish of getting a promotion in police department.
Many people who herd and attended Das Ganu Maharaj's kirtans found themselves experiencing Sai Baba's grace and love and thus were set on the path of spirituality, love and compassion.
